Bird's nest
A beautiful sculptural plant commonly found on trees in tropical jungles of Malaysia. Easy maintenance and thrives well in shade. Leaves become yellowish if exposed to prolonged intense sunlight.
Okay, I am no botanist. My love of plants probably unconsciously started during my childhood years prancing around in our garden in KL catching butterflies and ladybirds. I was trained in design and have pleasure in grasping the environment that people live. My interest in plants heightened when we moved to our first home that came with a decent-sized garden. I was spoilt for choice of the diversity that our blessed climate can offer. However, plants can be temperamental. This guide is based on my experience in cultivating plants that are generally grown in our gardens. I use vernacular names and also scientific ones if I can manage it, feel free to provide with the latter. Constructive comments are most welcome.
